Cyborg Re-Construction Fund

Organized by Kris Krug

You Can Still Donate!
I know it says the fund has ended. We can't seem to open it up again. In the meantime, you can still donate (and it would make my day if you did). This donate link: http://caseorganic.com/eN will take you directly to PayPal.

Again, to everyone who has chipped in: thank you so much for all of your messages, your kindness and your support. The surgery will actually cost more than twice the amount of the estimate that we have on the site here. Amber has applied for financial support from the hospital system, so things should turn out okay in the end.

If it wasn't for all of you, she would not have been able to pay the necessary bills required at the hospital. All of you made that possible for her. You helped her purchase a walking boot, X-rays, appointments and checkups, local anesthesia, food, and pain medication. You got her through.

And you've made her feel connected to this community in a much different way than ever experienced before. She's honored to know so many incredible people. Thanks again for your amazing connectivity and efforts.
Help Amber Case Achieve Her Dream
While some may view a broken leg as a career ending injury, our grrl Amber gearing up to achieve her dream... of becoming a cybernetic organism.

CaseOrganic suffered multiple leg fractures after being attacked by a slippery deck in Austin, Texas during the SXSW music festival.

Surgery was required resulting in new hardware being implanted in Amber's leg and foot. While she welcomes the upgrade the bill was through the roof.

Recognizing that it "Takes a Village to Build Cyborg" we've started this ChipIn page to help offset the costs.
